Roy Cummings, of the Tampa Tribune, reports the Tampa Bay Buccaneers "tried out" free agent P Steve Baker (Bills) Friday, Sept. 23. He just happens to kick with his left foot like this week's opponent, Green Bay Packers P B.J. Sander. WRs Ike Hilliard and Mark Jones, the Buccaneers top punt returners, fielded about a dozen kicks each from Baker. Punt returners say a ball kicked by a left-footed punter has a different spin to it and comes down differently than a ball kicked by a right-footed punter.
