"I just don't see a point in showing any good faith to the team if they're not going to negotiate," Scobee said. "There's no reason for me to show up on my good faith being that I'm the player, I'm the employee, when they choose not to speak. I don't expect them to reward bad behavior and I won't reward them with the behavior that they're treating me with."

"I don't see that as being an option," Scobee said. "I don't want to miss games or anything like that. That's just not me, that's not me as a person. Jacksonville Jaguars PK Josh Scobee worked with a kicking coach Gary Zauner during the offseason and changed Scobee mechanics, reports Tania Ganguli, of The Florida Times-Union. Zauner said he noticed Scobee's body crunching forward during long-range field goal attempts. He also said Scobee's ankles rolled in a way that made his motion less efficient. "It was a swing change for me, and more of a philosophy change," Scobee said. "Once I caught on and saw exactly what he talked about, I built a lot of good swings off it and at the same time got the confidence in what I was doing."
