"I feel this is finally the right time. I've talked about it with (the family) for a while, especially with the concussions over the last few years. We all felt it was the time to do it," Green said.

"I don't know yet," he said. "I haven't decided anything on anybody yet." QB Trent Green replaced QB Marc Bulger after the Rams fell behind 40-0 to the New York Jets at intermission in Week 10. Bulger had a woeful 29.3 passer rating by completing six of 13 tosses for 65 yards and throwing an interception.
