Wed, 16 Sep 2009 18:37:41 -0700 John McClain, of the Houston Chronicle, reports Houston Texans CB Dunta Robinson has been fined $25,000 by the team for making a financial demand with a message written on his shoes during the team's Week 1 game. Robinson is expected to be fined an additional $5,000 by the NFL for a uniform violation.

Mon, 14 Sep 2009 18:59:00 -0700 Aaron Wilson, of the National Football Post, reports Houston Texans head coach Gary Kubiak was disappointed with CB Dunta Robinson's decision to make a financial demand with a message on his shoes during the team's Week 1 game. However, the team is not planning to fine or suspend Robinson. Kubiak said, "I found out after the game. I didn't know anything about it. I'm disappointed, but it's been dealt with as a football team and it's been dealt with as an organization."

Wed, 09 Sep 2009 20:07:58 -0700 Nick Scurfield, of HoustonTexans.com, reports Houston Texans CB Dunta Robinson will be put on a play count by the coaches for the team's Week 1 game. Robinson said, "I'll definitely play some. Depending on how much, I'm not sure yet. I'm going to keep going with practice to see how I feel come game time, but I feel pretty good right now." Head coach Gary Kubiak has not specified a play count for him, but he said Sunday, Sept. 6, he did not expect him to play 60 or 70 snaps in the game. Kubiak hinted he would have to wait a couple of days to decide if Robinson would start the game. Kubiak said, "If Dunta makes it through Friday (Sept. 11) clean and looks like he looked today, then we've got to make a decision there as a team."
