Mark Gaughan, of the Buffalo News, reports Buffalo Bills LB Courtney Watson believes the team's defensive scheme fits his ability better Watson said, "It was a lot different in the pass defense [in New Orleans]. We did a lot of reading and matching up players. From what I've seen here so far, it's going to be a lot more zone, read and react, and get a chance to make plays on the ball. We were more of a matchup-zone, man-to-man type defense in New Orleans."

Chris Brown, of BuffaloBills.com, reports Buffalo Bills LB Courtney Watson lined up at middle linebacker with the second-team defense during the organized team activity practice Thursday, June 8. Watson used an armband with a list of defensive play calls so he would know his assignment on each play. "I've only been with the rest of the team for four or five hours," said Watson. "So the armband allows me to jump right in and get a feel for things."
