Fantasy Tip: This is a surprising development, although it's obviously not over yet. Playmakers Vilma and Smith could prove to be worth IDP roster spots, at least in deep leagues. Vilma would likely begin the season on the PUP list, however; the health of his surgically repaired left knee is in doubt. This would mostly be a positive for the Saints' team defense in non-IDP formats: The reinstatement of some important pieces, assuming that they're in shape, would be beneficial. If the league provides its evidence and still suspends the players, perhaps their suspensions will be for fewer games this time.
