The team sent Young home twice in the past three weeks due to behavior issues. Also, the team released S Erik Coleman, WR Kris Durham was promoted to the active roster from the practice squad and signed free-agent S Tyrell Johnson (Vikings) and WR Troy Burrell (Lions) to the practice squad.

In those two seasons, he started all 16 regular season games in each year, and posted 127 and 139 tackles. Coleman has played a lot of reps with the first-team this offseason due to injuries to others. The starting safety spot opposite FS Louis Delmas is not engraved in stone, so Coleman has a chance to return to the starting lineup.
