The Associated Press reports former Indianapolis Colts SS Dexter Reid was convicted of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute Wednesday, Jan. 23, a felony charge which could carry a jail sentence of up to 10 years. Reid's attorney hopes to get the charge reduced to a misdemeanor, claiming there was no intent to distribute the marijuana found in Reid's car, which would lower the maximum jail sentence to one year. Reid was also acquitted of carrying a concealed weapon.

The Associated Press reports former Indianapolis Colts DB Dexter Reid was arrested Thursday, Sept. 27, on a fugitive warrant stemming from a gun charge in Virginia Beach, Va. Police charged Reid with two felony counts of illegal weapon possession.

The Associated Press reports free-agent S Dexter Reid (Colts) was arrested Sunday, March 25, on gun and drug charges after being pulled over on suspicion of drunken driving. Reid was pulled over while driving a black 20043 GMC SUV Sunday morning. While officers were investigating, a handgun and marijuana were found in the vehicle. Reid was cooperative with officers, who charged him with first-offense possession of a concealed weapon and with a felony charge of possession of marijuana.
