Yankees | Expressed interest in Josh Willingham

Wed, 30 Jul 2014 17:42:35 -0700

Minnesota Twins OF Josh Willingham has reportedly drawn some interest from the New York Yankees leading up to the non-waiver trade deadline Thursday, July 31. The Seattle Mariners have also shown an interest.

Fantasy Tip: If Willingham were to land in New York, his playing time likely would decrease somewhat, as they have a glut of outfielders already. As such, his already marginal fantasy appeal would also decrease.

Twins | Activate, option Aaron Hicks

Wed, 25 Jun 2014 10:05:59 -0700

The Minnesota Twins activated OF Aaron Hicks (shoulder) from the disabled list and optioned him to Double-A New Britain.

Fantasy Tip: They're sticking with the outfield of Josh Willingham, Sam Fuld and Oswaldo Arcia, but that could change as Arcia's slump goes on. Hicks is a deep hold in AL-only games but doesn't deserve mixed consideration right now.
