Miami Dolphins LB Karlos Dansby (undisclosed) missed the individual drills in the team's voluntary veteran minicamp Tuesday, April 24, due to an undisclosed injury. However, he was able to take part in the team portion of the practice, serving as the inside linebacker in a three-linebacker scheme.

Dolphins | Could ask two players to restructure contracts

The Miami Dolphins could ask WR Brandon Marshall and LB Karlos Dansby to restructure their contracts this offseason so the team could receive salary cap relief. Both players are scheduled to count over $11.3 million against the cap next season.

Dolphins | Consider position switch for Koa Misi

The Miami Dolphins have not yet settled on their defensive scheme for 2012. The new coaching regime do not plan on using LB Koa Misi at defensive end, and their tentative plans might be to move him to inside linebacker. In 20 of the 28 games he has started, Misi has served as strong-side linebacker. Misi played defensive end in college at Utah. If Misi is moved inside, he would compete with LBs Karlos Dansby and Kevin Burnett for playing time.
