Head coach Marty Schottenheimer said, "He has become a very solid player. He's playing fast and displaying some quickness because he understands what we're asking him to do. Kevin Acee, of the San Diego Union-Tribune, reports the San Diego Chargers are in need of some depth at defensive tackle and DT Ryon Bingham may give that to them. Bingham is a seventh-round draft pick in 2004 who has been hampered the past two seasons by a torn biceps and has been active for just two games. Bingham says he is now 100 percent healthy. Head coach Marty Schottenheimer said Bingham is noticeably quicker, which is likely a product of him being healthy and knowing the defense better.
