Smith, who have been banged up, won't get more rest now that the team has clinched the AFC South Division title. "No, we're going to go about business as usual," Kubiak said. "The problem, like I said, you get 46 guys on game day. Everybody's got to play. You start talking about resting players and those type of things, you're not getting better."

Smith had an MRI on his shoulder Monday, Nov. 7. "He's fine," head coach Gary Kubiak said. "He's just got a banged-up shoulder. He did take a shot going into the second half. I think he played eight or nine plays in the second half. Really, really sore today; he did not work out with the team." Kubiak said Smith might miss practice time this week.
