The Houston Chronicle reports New York Giants OT Shane Olivea admitted he was addicted to painkillers during the 2007 season when he was a member of the San Diego Chargers. He lost his starting job with the Chargers midseason and was later released. He said he had asked the Chargers to let him loose.
