The reality is that for me it came down to risk and reward. I think you've always got to weigh that out. At some point, you've got to kind of figure out what you're in the game for."

Several St. Louis Rams players received fines from the team's Week 3 game. That included $7,500 fines against OG Jacob Bell for a chop block, CB Bradley Fletcher for a horse-collar tackle and OT Jason Smith for unnecessary roughness. WR Danario Alexander was fined $5,000 for roughing the kicker. In addition, Fletcher received a second $7,500 fine for unnecessary roughness.

Updating a previous report, OG Jacob Bell (knee) expects to be ready to play in Week 15 against the Kansas City Chiefs after practicing Friday, Dec. 17, reports Jim Thomas, of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. "He got a regular flow in there," head coach Steve Spagnuolo said. "He didn't get all the reps. We backed off a little bit, but I think he's OK. He seems to be all right."
