The New York Jets are trying to build position versatility along the offensive line, so a handful of players lined up at different positions Wednesday, June 12, at minicamp. OGs Willie Colon and Stephen Peterman swapped sides, with Colon working at right guard, and Peterman at left guard. OTs Vladimir Ducasse and Oday Aboushi also shifted sides, with Ducasse playing at left tackle, and Aboushi at right tackle.

Detroit Lions general manager Martin Mayhew said he expects the teams high draft picks to be on the field quickly because of the needs of the team. "That's a fair statement, but it's also fair to say we had more holes coming into it, or more holes that we knew about, coming into this draft than we did last year," Mayhew said. "We do expect a lot of those guys, especially guys that we took early, to be on the field pretty quickly." First-round pick DE Ezekiel Ansah was drafted to replace DE Kyle Vanden Bosch. Second round pick CB Darius Slay will compete with CB Bill Bentley. Third round pick OG Larry Warford will likely replace OG Stephen Peterman.
