The Kansas City Star's Jeffrey Flanagan reports former Kansas City Royals 2B Frank White will be the team's No. 3 television announcer this season, filling in when necessary for analyst Paul Splittorff. Play-by-play man Ryan Lefebvre is expected to do all 140 televised regular-season games with new rights holder, FSN Kansas City, while Splittorff will work 120 games and White will do 20.

The Kansas City Star's Jeffrey Flanagan reports Fox Sports Net Midwest is taking a look at former Kansas City Royals player Frank White, among others, as a possible part-time fill-in for analyst Paul Splittorff, who plans on working about 110 to 120 of the 140-game television schedule. Ryan Lefebvre is expected to work the entire television slate as a play-by-play man.

The Kansas City Star's Bob Dutton reports the Kansas City Royals granted the Seattle Mariners permission Monday, Nov. 1 to interview former Royals player and current minor-league MAN Frank White to work as the third-base coach on the staff of new Mariners MAN Mike Hargrove. "It's always flattering when someone comes after you," said White. "He said I was on a short list, and that they would get back to me."

Dick Kaegel, of the Kansas City Star, reports the Kansas City Royals have announced former Royals 2B Frank White will have a bronze statue outside of Kauffman Stadium, joining Hall of Fame 3B/1B George Brett and Royals founders and owners Ewing and Muriel Kauffman. The statue will be unveiled July 31, before a game against the Cleveland Indians.
