The Atlanta Falcons made a change at fullback Wednesday, Nov. 7, because they felt that FB Lousaka Polite was not a dominant blocker in front of RB Michael Turner. Polite dealt with a hamstring issue, but his blocking was not what the Falcons were hoping for when he returned. The Falcons now turn to FB Mike Cox in hopes that he can be a dominant lead blocker.

Miami Dolphins head coach Tony Sparano said during his press conference that he is not surprised by the success FB Lousaka Polite has had rushing the ball this season. Sparano said Polite has worked on becoming a better runner. Polite is averaging 3.5 yards per carry this season and rushed for 18 yards on four carries in Week 14.
