KCChiefs.com reports Kansas City Chiefs head coach Dick Vermeil likes what he is seeing from WR Jeris McIntyre thus far during training camp. "He's a big strong kid. Last year he was too heavy," Vermeil said. "Now he's 206 pounds and faster and he still has the same strength in his lower body and strong hands. Playing in the NFLEL (Europe) really helped him."

Bob Gretz, of KCChiefs.com, reports Kansas City Chiefs WR Jeris McIntyre was one of the few NFL Europe allocated players who took part in the team's weekend minicamp. As reported, head coach Dick Vermeil said McIntyre had improved from last season. With the Chiefs lack of depth at wideout, McIntyre has a decent chance to make the active roster if he has a strong training camp.

Kansas City Chiefs WR Jeris McIntyre, allocated to the Rhein Fire of NFL Europe, has caught 13 passes for 294 yards (22.6 avg.) and one touchdown through five weeks of European play, reports KCChiefs.com. McIntyre leads the league with a 22.6 yards-per-catch average and stands third in the league with 294 receiving yards. He has also returned five kickoffs for 89 yards (17.8 avg.).
