Washington Redskins TE Chris Cooley has not caught a pass since joining the team but is not upset with his role on offense. "I didn't know what to expect. I would have hoped for more at this point," Cooley said. "But it's fun to be a part of this team. It's fun to be a part of the two wins in a row. We'll see if we can get hot and make the playoffs." He said he is not sure if he will have a bigger role in the offense moving forward.

Washington Redskins TE Chris Cooley has played just 29 snaps over his first two weeks back with the team as TE Logan Paulsen has been receiving the majority of playing time. Cooley said he does not have an issue with the playing time. "Honestly, I didn't know what to expect. I'm happy to be a part of whatever I can do," Cooley said. "Hopefully, for me, it grows throughout the season. But it's a good bunch of guys to be around and a good locker room, and I'm happy to do whatever I can, and if that's just being here and helping with the little details, then I'm happy to do that." Offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan said that game matchups would determine whether or not Cooley saw a spike in playing time down the road.

Instead, Cooley figured he would handle it himself. He didn't think the knee was that bad. "I feel 100 percent that I'm a casualty for the season of the lockout," Cooley said.
