Free-agent TE Chris Cooley (Redskins) is still considering a comeback, although he said Monday, July 27, in a radio interview that he does not anticipate a team signing him before the start of training camp. In addition, he is likely to join a contending team. "It would probably have to be a team that realisitically has a chance of winning this year. Teams that don't have a chance of winning don't sign 33-year-old tight ends," Cooley said.
Fantasy Tip: Cooley continues to work out in hopes of making a comeback, and if he does play in a game it would be his first since the 2012 NFL season. Fantasy owners obviously need to forget his name like they have for the past two seasons and only worry about him off the waiver wire should his comeback turn out to be surprisingly successful.

But it's a good bunch of guys to be around and a good locker room, and I'm happy to do whatever I can, and if that's just being here and helping with the little details, then I'm happy to do that."
