I would have hoped for more at this point," Cooley said. "But it's fun to be a part of this team. It's fun to be a part of the two wins in a row. We'll see if we can get hot and make the playoffs." He said he is not sure if he will have a bigger role in the offense moving forward.

Cooley said he does not have an issue with the playing time. "Honestly, I didn't know what to expect. I'm happy to be a part of whatever I can do," Cooley said. "Hopefully, for me, it grows throughout the season. But it's a good bunch of guys to be around and a good locker room, and I'm happy to do whatever I can, and if that's just being here and helping with the little details, then I'm happy to do that." Offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan said that game matchups would determine whether or not Cooley saw a spike in playing time down the road.
