The Associated Press reports the Jacksonville Jaguars have signed LB Joe Wesley from the practice squad to the regular roster. They then signed TE Tevita Ofahengaue to their practice squad. He was the "Mr. Irrelevant" of the 2001 draft, the last player chosen.

They placed PK Cary Blanchard, OT Norberto Davidds-Garrido and LB James Folston on injured reserve.

The Arizona Republic reports Monday marked the first time all three of the Arizona Cardinals' fullbacks were healthy for an entire practice. However, it didn’t last. Dennis McKinley missed Tuesday morning's workout because of a groin injury. Joel Makovicka reinjured his hamstring in Tuesday morning's practice. He is out indefinitely. Paul Shields was the only healthy FB and the team moved Tevita Ofahengaue from fullback to round out the tight end position.

As an update to previous reports, the Arizona Cardinals have officially signed rookie TE Tevita Ofahengaue to a three-year deal. He'll have base salaries of $209,000 (2001), $298,000 (2002) and $389,000 (2003).

The Arizona Republic reports Arizona Cardinals undrafted rookie free agent WR Arnold Jackson has been catching the coaches attention during practice as both a receiver and a return man. However, he fights an uphill battle to make the team because he's only 5-foot-8 and 167 pounds. Rookie S Adrian Wilson and seventh-round selection TE Tevita Ofahengaue have also been given praise. Ofahengaue has been seeing some time at fullback as well. The Cardinals worked out undrafted rookie free agent OG Josh Lovelady on Friday.
