Pittsburgh Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger said he was unhappy with his play in Week 5 even though he went 26-for-36 for 273 yards, one touchdown and zero interceptions. "I was a little disappointed in the way I played," Roethlisberger said. "I want to say the line played a lot better than what the stats are going to say. That's a good defensive front. They got after it. I know there are going to be some stats on sacks, but the line played a lot better than it will be written. A lot of those are on me."
Fantasy Tip: Roethlisberger has played well in his last three games and has not thrown an interception in that span. Roethlisberger likely will be a matchup play most of the season, but could be a solid starting option on FantasyScore this upcoming week depending on the price.

Denver Broncos WR Emmanuel Sanders said QB Peyton Manning is a "better leader" than Pittsburgh Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger. "This is the first time that I had a quarterback that stays every single day after practice, no matter what his accolades," Sanders said. "From NFL MVP, Super Bowl rings. He keeps guys like me and (Cody) Latimer after practice and we're out there 15, 20 minutes. And he's not one of those guys you gotta go chase down, he's gonna be right at the same spot ready to work, every single day."
Fantasy Tip: Sanders is set to be the No. 3 receiver for the Broncos this season, and the extra work he is putting in with Manning should help him hit the ground running when the season begins. He is worth drafting in the middle rounds as a WR3 in fantasy leagues.

The Arizona Cardinals liked QB Blake Bortles leading up to the draft, and thought he could become a franchise quarterback. "Well, you know, we liked Blake Bortles a lot," general manager Steve Keim said. "We thought, when you looked at his size, his athleticism, his ability to improvise. He doesn't have quite the arm strength that Ben Roethlisberger had but he has some of the same skill set, naturally with his foot speed and athleticism to get out of the pocket and make plays with his feet, as well as stand tall in the pocket and make some of the throws down the field. And he's a guy, being a junior coming out, he still had some developing to do as well but we think his upside is pretty big."

Pittsburgh Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger said the team may consider using the no-huddle offense more this upcoming season because of the success the team had in the latter part of the 2013 season. "We've all kind of come to the conclusion that maybe it needs to be more involved, we need to do it more. So I think parts of it might be more of a base offense; we might go into training camp, OTAs, minicamp, using it a lot more, so it is more of a regular thing. But not always. Because we've got to have our two and three tight-end packages, we've got to have jumbo stuff, short-yardage, goal line. We still have to have all those things. But to have it, to use it more often, and to be more comfortable with it, I think it makes us better," Roethlisberger said.
