Kent Somers, of The Arizona Republic, reports Arizona Cardinals head coach Ken Whisenhunt was pleased with the team's progress during OTAs over the past month. Whisenhunt said, "Overall, I thought it was a productive month for us. It's sad to see it come to an end. This is really one of the funnest times of the year for a coach because you're getting to work on things and there's not the pressure of the season or a game coming up. It's a little bit more relaxed atmosphere with your players."

Darren Urban, of AZCardinals.com, reports the Arizona Cardinals said they are willing to listen to offers from other teams for WR Anquan Boldin. "Before the draft, you know there is going to talk about Anquan and his situation and a trade. Since not a whole lot has changed with his contractual situation, we know that will come back up. It would be foolish from our standpoint not to listen to those opportunities and see what actually exists. But I want to make the point … our goal is to re-sign him to a long-term deal. That hasn't changed," head coach Ken Whisenhunt said.

Branch said, "It's a huge year, first of all, just in terms of if you want to stay in this league or what type of player you are going to be viewed as. This year, if I don't bring what I'm supposed to bring to the table, that could secure you a backup role the rest of your career."

Updating previous reports, Mark Brown, of the Honolulu Star-Bulletin, reports Arizona Cardinals DL Travis LaBoy (biceps, ankle) is going to play during Super Bowl XLIII. LaBoy plans to wear a brace during the game and said he is coming along in his recovery from the injuries. Head coach Ken Whisenhunt said LaBoy is getting more comfortable with what he will be able to do with his arm injury.

Mark Maske, of the Washington Post, reports Arizona Cardinals DE Travis LaBoy's (biceps) status for Super Bowl XLIII is uncertain because of a biceps injury. He was scheduled to undergo an MRI Monday, Jan. 19. Head coach Ken Whisenhunt said he does not know if the injury is a strain or a tear.

The Associated Press reports Arizona Cardinals head coach Ken Whisenhunt said WR Anquan Boldin's (hamstring) hamstring is getting better but his status for the NFC Championship game is uncertain at this point. "We're a week further along in the process of that hamstring getting better, so hopefully he'll be able to do something this week but we'll see as the work progresses," Whisenhunt said.
