Head coach Tom Couglin said there's a good chance all three will share time to keep all three players fresh.

LB Danny Clark, last week's starter, continued to work with the first team. Starting SS Ainsley Battles (knee) did not practice today. Rookie James Boyd worked with the starters in his place.

Rookie S James Boyd, who was not happy with Battles being named the starter last week, is also in the mix. Coughlin plans to watch both Battles and Boyd in practice before naming a starter.

Coughlin has yet to name a starter at strong safety for the September 23 game against Tennessee. Coughlin is reluctant to start two rookies in the secondary now that rookie Marlon McCree has won the job at free safety. Boyd said he expressed his displeasure to Coughlin during a meeting this week.
