Washington Redskins defensive coordinator Jim Haslett is happy with how the defensive line and linebackers played this season but would like more consistency from the defensive backs. Haslett said he expects defensive backs coach Raheem Morris to help CBs DeAngelo Hall and Josh Wilson improve their play.

In Week 14, CB DeAngelo Hall picked up a flag and threw it after he was called for holding. "If you make too many of those mistakes, eventually you're not with us," Shanahan said.

Washington Redskins CB DeAngelo Hall said New York Jets QB Mark Sanchez has a tendency to stare his receivers down when he is facing pressure. "He doesn't take as many chances as much as he just gets confused some times," Hall says. "A lot of times he just comes out and stares a receiver down, tries to throw him the ball. He puts it on those guys to make plays. They haven't made as many plays this year as they have in previous years."

Washington Redskins CB DeAngelo Hall was so disappointed in his performance in Week 11 that he acknowledged the team should cut him. "The way I'm playing right now, they need to go and cut me, because I'm definitely not worth what I'm getting," Hall said. "It's frustrating. Hopefully they see something in me and bring me back next year. But the way things are going right now, I'm definitely not playing up to par."
