Redskins | Hall involved in scuffle with Falcons players, coaches Sun, 08 Nov 2009 21:40:50 -0800 D. Orlando Ledbetter, of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, reports Washington Redskins CB DeAngelo Hall was involved in a scuffle Week 9 with several players from the Atlanta Falcons, strength coach Jeff Fish and head coach Mike Smith. Hall said, "I ran over there to kind of pull my guy away. One of their strength and conditioning coaches put his hands on me and started grabbing me. Then it went to various other guys pulling at me and grabbing me." Hall added, "Later on, coach Smith, Mike came over and grabbed me, talking (stuff) to me. Saying he'll kick my (butt) and all this other (stuff)." Hall does not believe that Smith was coming over to break up the fight, and feels something needs to be done about Smith's actions. Hall is planning to call commissioner Roger Goodell to discuss the incident.

Tue, 19 May 2009 07:16:12 -0700 SportsRadioInterviews.com reports Washington Redskins CB DeAngelo Hall said during a radio interview with station WJFK in Washington that his brief stint with the Oakland Raiders was not an enjoyable one. Hall added that going to Oakland can kill a player's career. "Oh, it's a weight off my shoulders, just that whole situation out there and the way they did things," Hall said. "I'm not knocking it but it wasn't what I was accustomed to, what I was used to, and I just started not caring like a bunch of other guys, you know. It kind of rubs off on you. They say you go to Oakland as a player to die…You can definitely go there and have fun towards the end of your career, but to go there during the prime of your career, that's just not a place you want to be."

Hall said, "I'm switching it up a little bit, playing different positions now as opposed to when I came in last year in the middle of the season and just tried to go out there and play."
