Pat Yasinskas, of the Charlotte Observer, reports the Carolina Panthers worked out free agent RB Stacey Mack Tuesday, Oct. 12. Mack, according to sources, has worked out for five teams recently, but his weight is close to 250 pounds.

The Houston Chronicle reports Houston Texans RB Stacey Mack (foot) was placed on injured reserve Wednesday, Nov. 26, after his turf toe showed no improvement. Mack has missed three straight games with the injury, which has bothered him since training camp. This all but ends a difficult one-year stint with the Texans. Mack signed as a free agent during the offseason to be the primary back before losing his job to rookie RB Domanick Davis after five games.
