Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim SS Erick Aybar went 2-for-6 in the series finale Sunday, May 20, against the San Diego Padres, posting his third consecutive multi-hit game in the interleague series. He went 8-for-15 with two doubles, a triple and three RBIs with two stolen bases, raising his average from .189 to .225 in the three-game set.

The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim finalized their four-year, $35 million extension with SS Erick Aybar Thursday, April 19. He received a $1 million signing bonus, and he'll make $8.5 million in each of the next four years. Aybar will make an extra $75,000 for his next Gold Glove or Silver Slugger award, $50,000 for making the All-Star team, $75,000 as MVP of a league championship series and $100,000 as World Series MVP. He will earn $150,000 for winning the league MVP award.
