Fantasy Tip: It's unclear if this is a serious knee ailment, but the fact remains that Aybar hasn't been able to settle into a groove because of various nagging injuries. If he misses more time, Brendan Harris will replace him.

Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim SS Erick Aybar (hamstring) is expected to be out three to five days, but manager Mike Scioscia doesn't think Aybar will need to go on the disabled list.

Fantasy Tip: Brendan Harris will fill in for Aybar like he did when the starting shortstop was on the DL earlier this year. Harris won't help your offensive categories very much, so he's limited to AL-only formats.

Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim OF Peter Bourjos (hamstring) is headed to the 15-day disabled list with a strained left hamstring. Meanwhile, SS Erick Aybar (heel) is likely to return from the disabled list Tuesday, April 30.

Fantasy Tip: Bourjos was hitting .313 and having a nice season, but he wasn't stealing any bases with his elite speed. That hindered his fantasy value. He can be dropped in mixed formats. Aybar went 2-for-5 with a double and a homer in his last rehab game at Triple-A Salt Lake. He can be activated.

Fantasy Tip: Keep Aybar reserved in the upcoming week, even though it appears he is nearing activation from the 15-day disabled list. Let him return and play one full game without any setbacks before plugging him back into your fantasy lineup.
