Atlanta Braves SP Mike Minor (shoulder) allowed a hit in five scoreless innings for Single-A Rome last Friday and is set to join the team's starting rotation April 23 or April 25. SP Gavin Floyd (elbow) gave up two runs (one earned) and three hits in 3 2/3 innings for Triple-A Gwinnett in his third rehab outing Friday. Floyd will make three more starts before coming off the disabled list in a few weeks. Minor will make his final rehab start Friday, April 18, for Double-A Mississippi.
Fantasy Tip: Minor is much more intriguing with way more upside than Minor. Consider adding Minor this week if you have the room.

Atlanta Braves SPs Mike Minor (shoulder) and Gavin Floyd (elbow) both recovered nicely from their outings with Triple-A Gwinnett Tuesday, April 8. Minor allowed two runs (one earned) on a hit, three walks and four strikeouts in 2 1/3 innings, and Floyd allowed a run and a hit in four innings. Floyd will pitch again for Double-A Mississippi Sunday, April 13, and will move to 75 pitches. Minor will start again for Gwinnett Sunday. The team is hoping to have Minor back either April 23 or April 25, and Floyd could return a week or two later.
Fantasy Tip: If you're looking to add starting pitching help, both of these pitchers could help you out in a few weeks. Minor has more upside and will return sooner, so he should be your first choice. He's also coming off a much less serious arm injury than Floyd (TJS).

Atlanta Braves SP Gavin Floyd (elbow) allowed two hits and two runs in 1 1/3 innings with Triple-A Gwinnett Thursday, April 3. He tossed 42 pitches in the outing.
