The Associated Press reports Minnesota Vikings QB Brett Favre started his 271st consecutive game Week 2 against the Detroit Lions, setting another league record. Former Vikings DE Jim Marshall held the previous record for consecutive starts when he started 270 games in a row from 1961-1979. Favre finished the game 23-for-27 for 155 yards with two touchdowns.

The Associated Press reports former Minnesota Vikings DL Jim Marshall had a felony drug conviction scrubbed from his record Monday, April, by the state Board of Pardons. Marshall won a pardon for his 1991 conviction on a cocaine possession charge. He was looking to have the conviction scrubbed so he can travel the world without restrictions to do work for a nonprofit he co-founded.
