Dingman said he threw mainly fastballs and changeups and will continue to throw bullpen sessions every other day for the next two weeks. If Dingman continues to pitch well, he could begin the season at Triple-A Toledo.

Mon, 26 Feb 2007 00:56:26 -0800 The Detroit Free Press reports Detroit Tigers P Craig Dingman (shoulder) was due to return to Lakeland on Feb. 25 and should resume full activity in one week. Dingman left camp about one week ago because of numbness in his throwing arm. An examination in St. Louis discovered a small clot in his surgically repaired shoulder that probably occurred while sleeping.
Tue, 20 Feb 2007 00:18:42 -0800 The Detroit Free Press reports Detroit Tigers RP Craig Dingman (arm) was absent from camp Feb. 19 and having his throwing arm examined. Manager Jim Leyland said he didn't know how serious the injury was. Dingman missed last year after undergoing arterial bypass surgery on his right shoulder last March. A clot in the shoulder required another procedure in April.
Fri, 16 Feb 2007 13:18:05 -0800 Jason Beck, of Detroit.Tigers.MLB.com, reports Detroit Tigers P Craig Dingman (shoulder) is healthy and ready for spring training after undergoing season-ending surgery last spring. Dingman was diagnosed with a torn artery in his shoulder and underwent a rare arterial bypass procedure. The rehab from the surgery has very little precedence but Dingman has reported an increase in his range of motion after having a rib removed in the surgery. No muscular damage was done to his arm or shoulder in the process, with just the pectoral muscles being damaged.
