Updating a previous report, according to Zac Jackson of ClevelandBrowns.com, Cleveland Browns PK Derek Schorejs, currently allocated to the Cologne Centurions of NFL Europe, was the most accurate American kicker in the NFLE regular season, converting 6-of-7 field goals with a long of 51 yards.

Zac Jackson, of ClevelandBrowns.com, reports Cleveland Browns PK Derek Schorejs has been named NFL Europe Special Teams Player of the Week for his performance in Cologne's 28-20 win over Scotland Saturday, June 5. Schorejs kicked field goals of 50 and 34 yards during the game.

Bart Hubbuch reports for the Florida Times-Union the Jacksonville Jaguars are hopeful one of their current PKs, Jaret Holmes, Derek Schorejs or rookie Hayden Epstein, will step up to assume the team's vacant PK spot. "I'm a little bit disappointed that nobody has stepped to the forefront so far," special teams coordinator John Bonamego said.
