Bart Hubbuch reports for the Florida Times-Union the Jacksonville Jaguars are hopeful one of their current PKs, Jaret Holmes, Derek Schorejs or rookie Hayden Epstein, will step up to assume the team's vacant PK spot. "I'm a little bit disappointed that nobody has stepped to the forefront so far," special teams coordinator John Bonamego said.

Bart Hubbuch, of the Florida Times-Union, reports Jacksonville Jaguars P Chris Hanson and K Jaret Holmes were severely burned by fondue three weeks ago. Both are already back to 100 percent and will be ready for training camp on July 25.

According to Bart Hubbuch of the Florida Times-Union, the Jacksonville Jaguars have given tender offers to exclusive-rights free agent PK Jaret Holmes, LB Danny Clark and PR Damon Gibson. All will be back in training camp for the 2002 season.

According to the Times-Union, after he had a first-quarter field goal blocked and later missed his second extra point of the season, Jacksonville Jaguars PK Mike Hollis found himself on the sidelines. PK Jaret Holmes kicked the PAT after the team's second TD of the day. Coach Tom Coughlin didn't address the situation after the game. Hollis said he was glad for Holmes and he did not take it as an insult.
