When asked Friday, Oct. 30, about the health of his left knee after being benched in Week 7, Harris became a little defensive. "I don't even think that was an issue," Harris said. "I think somebody just made that up. So we'll just leave that alone."

Head coach Lovie Smith said he decided to rest Harris in Week 7 because he did not practice all week. "There isn't anything wrong with Tommie," Smith said. "It was more a coach's decision as much as anything. I thought we had better options."
