New Orleans Saints QB Chase Daniel said he sees no competition from QB Luke McCown as the top backup to QB Drew Brees. Daniel insists he is looking at competing with Brees for the No. 1 job. "What competition?" Daniel said when asked about McCown. "I am trying to take Drew Brees' spot. I don't see a competition with any other quarterback but Drew on the roster right now."

New Orleans Saints interim head coach Joe Vitt won't reveal his quarterback rotation against the Arizona Cardinals for the Hall of Fame game Sunday, Aug. 5, in Canton, Ohio, saying only that it will be similar to other preseason openers. Look for QB Drew Brees to play a series or two, followed by QBs Chase Daniel, Luke McCown and Sean Canfield.
