Updating a previous report, Teresa Varley of the Associated Press, reports Tennessee Titans QB Jason Gesser continues to battle rookie QB Robert Kent for the team's No. 3 quarterback spot. "No matter where you're at in the league, the No. 3 spot at quarterback is the most vulnerable," Gesser said. "Every year there's going to be a different guy to come in and compete with you. ... I'm going to take care of what I have to take care of, and hopefully, they like it and I'm still here as the No. 3 quarterback."

Kyle Payne, of TitansOnline.com, reports the Tennessee Titans expect a heated battle between incumbent QB Jason Gesser and rookie QB Robert Kent for the third quarterback spot. "You go in and don't worry about anybody else," said Gesser. "I think that my talent and athletic ability will carry me," said Kent.

Inside the League reports that Kentucky QB Jared Lorenzen (separated shoulder), Arkansas State DT Corey Williams (injured ankle), Mississippi State WR Justin Jenkins and South Florida OLB Maurice Jones (choice) were all late scratches from the Blue-Gray All-Star Classic. Their replacements will be Kentucky DT Jeremy Caudill, Jackson State QB Robert Kent, East Carolina WR Terrance Copper, and Wake Forest OLB Kellen Brantley.
