The Philadelphia Phillies have hired former MLB P Ray Burris to serve as the pitching coach at Triple-A Lehigh Valley. They have also promoted Andy Tracy to minor league hitting coordinator.

The Arizona Diamondbacks reassigned IF Andy Tracy, OF David Winfree and RP Clay Zavada to Triple-A Reno Friday, March 11, according to MLB.com's Steve Gilbert. P Matt Gorgen and OF Marc Krauss were sent to Double-A Mobile, while C Rossmel Perez was sent to Single-A Visalia. P Juan Jaime was assigned to Single-A South Bend.
