The Times Union's Gene Frenette reports the Jacksonville Jaguars were surprised when Michigan OT Maurice Williams was on the board Saturday when they were ready to make their second round pick in the NFL Draft. Williams, who will likely fill the starting guard or tackle spot on the right side next to veteran Zach Wiegert, was targeted by head coach Tom Coughlin as being taken somewhere late in the first round. Williams has also played guard which gives the team some flexiblity. "Exactly where [Williams] anchors in, I don't know," said Coughlin. "Wiegert has played both guard and tackle. Williams has played both guard and tackle. We'll talk about that." Though Coughlin wasn't ready to hand Williams a starting job, he will clearly be the favorite at right tackle with Mark Baniewicz the only returning player at that spot.
