The Associated Press reports Minnesota Twins P John Thomas is a 23-year-old left-hander and went 5-12 with three saves and a 3.45 ERA in 33 games, 19 starts, for single-A San Jose last season. He was originally selected in the second round of the 1999 amateur draft. He is 9-20 with a 4.11 ERA in 59 minor league games over three seasons.
