"I can tell you two things, and I want to make this clear and simple -- I have not had one conversation with another NFL team regarding a trade with Larry Fitzgerald," Keim said. Sun, 13 Oct 2013 09:44:27 -0700
There does not appear to be much optimism about WR Larry Fitzgerald's (hamstring) availability for Week 6.

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (hamstring) is dealing with a setback to a different spot in his hamstring. He's listed as questionable for Week 6 against the San Francisco 49ers and has a good chance to play.
Fantasy Tip: Fitz may not be moving around as well as you'd like to see if you own him, making him a weak play against a Niners defense that is on the rise. Arizona's weak offensive line and an immobile Carson Palmer might combine to make it a tough day for Fitz.

Updating a previous report, Arizona Cardinals QB Carson Palmer said head coach Bruce Arians' offensive system is the most complex and difficult offense he's had to learn in his career. He's only completed 57 percent of his passes for 1,010 yards and four touchdowns and six interceptions. The Cardinals rank 18th in the NFL in passing, 26th in rushing and 27th in overall offense. "It's the whole offense," WR Andre Roberts said. "He's (Palmer) not played well at times, receivers have not played as well at times, the offensive line, running backs. It's a team effort. Especially on offense, you've got to have all 11 guys on the same page." WR Larry Fitzgerald said there are "a lot of nuances" in the system, but if done right, "it's pretty invincible." Palmer has been sacked 10 times and will have a new left tackle, OT Bradley Sowell, protecting his blind side in Week 5 against the Carolina Panthers.
Fantasy Tip: There may still be hope for Palmer and the rest of Arizona's offensive production, but time is running out. The offensive line must do a better job at protecting Palmer and opening lanes for the running game. the Panthers' front seven will pose a tough test again this weekend.

Fri, 13 Sep 2013 12:54:31 -0700
Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Week 2.
Fantasy Tip: Fitzgerald could be a game-time decision, so owners will have to monitor the inactive lists to see if he will play. If he does not play, Michael Floyd and Andre Roberts likely will have increased fantasy value for Week 2. If Fitzgerald is able to play, he should be seen as a borderline No. 1 receiver because he could be limited with the hamstring injury.

Tue, 30 Jul 2013 09:04:24 -0700
Atlanta Falcons WR Roddy White worked out with Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald during the offseason. "Any time you get around guys like that around the NFL that you want to compete with and that you want to show them what you can do, they push you to the limit and you get out here and get ready to go," White said.
Fantasy Tip: White is primed and ready for another stellar season. He and Julio Jones are one of the best 1-2 receiver tandems in the NFL, and fantasy owners will want to nab each early on draft day.
Fri, 12 Jul 2013 23:14:00 -0700
Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald and QB Carson Palmer have been working together at the receiver's annual summer program at the University of Minnesota. "Look, this is a big year for me, coming off my worst season as a pro," Fitzgerald said. "I know Carson wants to play well this year. This is a huge year, and we're leaning on each other." New head coach Bruce Arians' offense features more formations, route adjustments and hot reads than Palmer is accustomed to executing, so the pair, and the franchise, is hoping that the extra work will improve chemistry and preparedness.
Fantasy Tip: Palmer may have a ways to go to be anything but a QB2. Fitz, however, is extremely motivated to rebound from his worst season as a pro, statistically, in 2012, and many of the elements are in place that would allow the stud pass-catcher to do so. This may be one of the more optimal -- relatively speaking -- years to draft him.
Thu, 13 Jun 2013 16:52:47 -0700
Arizona Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians told reporters that when he was with the Indianapolis Colts as offensive coordinator and eventually interim head coach last season, WR Reggie Wayne started to embrace the idea of lining up at different spots along the line of scrimmage. Arians said WR Larry Fitzgerald has welcomed the idea, as well, as he's being tried in the "X," "Z" and "F" positions.
Fantasy Tip: Of course, Wayne had Andrew Luck throwing to him. Can Carson Palmer offer similar hope? Fitzgerald is a borderline WR1 (safer as a 2) but, if he falls, could reward those willing to pounce on a reduced price.
Wed, 05 Jun 2013 07:09:13 -0700
Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald is working in the "X", "Z" and "F" positions at receiver. Fitzgerald is spending his nights studying each position for tests the following day.
Wed, 15 May 2013 15:04:08 -0700
Arizona Cardinals QB Carson Palmer said he wants to build chemistry with all of the wide receivers because he will not be able to throw to WR Larry Fitzgerald all the time. "It's of the utmost importance to be on the same page with Larry, but it's of the utmost importance to be on the same page with every one of those guys because the ball can't always go to him," Palmer said. "I know that's not what he wants to hear, but that's the truth. There will be teams that key on him and there will be games where he doesn't have as many catches as other games. It's that much more important I have that rhythm and timing down with [WR Michael Floyd] and [WR Andre Roberts] and whoever that third and fourth guy is going to be."
Tue, 14 May 2013 21:00:05 -0700
Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald will be lined up in different spots this year, sometimes working in the slot with WR Andre Roberts on the outside.
Fantasy Tip: Regardless of where Fitzgerald lines up, he will again be a top-notch fantasy option worthy of a selection in the neighborhood of Rounds 4 to 6 on Draft Day.

Tue, 02 Apr 2013 13:34:39 -0700
Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald is very happy about the trade that brought QB Carson Palmer to the team Tuesday, April 2.
Fantasy Tip: Fitzgerald should be happy, as this is a significant upgrade over what the team has had at the position before. Fitzgerald is still one of the top fantasy wide receivers in the game, and this trade should only solidify that standing.
Mon, 18 Mar 2013 21:18:44 -0700
There is no chance the Arizona Cardinals will trade WR Larry Fitzgerald, as they are more than happy with the receiver, and it would cost them a $15 million salary cap hit.

Former NFL WR Cris Carter said Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald is the only other receiver in league history who is comparable in terms of pass-catching ability. "Larry Fitzgerald Jr. is the only person I'd say is comparable," Carter said. "I have never said anybody had better hands than me. No, I haven't seen that. Catching the football is a gift. You can't teach that. But Larry is the only one that's comparable."

Sun, 16 Dec 2012 18:10:08 -0800
Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald had four catches for just 22 yards in the Week 15 game against the Detroit Lions.
Fantasy Tip: Even in victory, Fitzgerald did very little. He has just six catches for 67 yards over the past four games, making him a candidate for the waiver wire if not for his past production and big name. Really, fantasy owners can no longer depend on him in their playoff games if they are still alive.
Tue, 11 Dec 2012 16:12:16 -0800
Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald doesn't think the team has quit on their season, despite his father thinking otherwise. "We're professionals. That will never happen," Fitzgerald said. "We're going to continue to play. We're going to continue to practice. We're going to continue to prepare every week like we would if we had won nine games in a row. That's not going to change. We're not going to quit." Fitzgerald had just one catch for two yards in Week 14 and has only 652 yards on the season.
