Toronto Blue Jays OF Anthony Gose will be optioned to Triple-A Buffalo Friday, Aug. 15, to make room for 1B Edwin Encarnacion's (quadriceps) return from the disabled list. General manager Alex Anthopoulos confirmed that Encarnacion will be in the lineup against the Chicago White Sox Friday.

Juan Francisco, who has struggled mightily recently, will now find it even harder to find playing time. He could be downgraded to a platoon option at third base with Danny Valencia.
