Thu, 30 May 2013 17:36:35 -0700 Cleveland Indians manager Terry Francona said SS Asdrubal Cabrera (quadriceps) has been dealing with a right quadriceps injury on and off since late April. Francona said the team has been monitoring the situation and that Cabrera has been good about letting the team knows how he feels.
Fantasy Tip: Cabrera has been dealing with the injury for several weeks but has not gone on the disabled list at this point. There is still a chance he could go on the DL if the injury affects his play. If he did miss some time, Mike Aviles likely would see most of the time at shortstop. Indians general manager Chris Antonetti said former Houston Astros manager Bradley Mills is also a candidate to join Francona's staff.
