Toronto Blue Jays RP Casey Janssen will take over as the interim closer until RP Sergio Santos (shoulder) returns from the disabled list. RPs Jason Frasor, Darren Oliver and Luis Perez will serve in middle relief, and RP Francisco Cordero will fill in where needed.

Fantasy Tip: Janssen should be added in the short term if you're hurting for saves at this juncture, but keep in mind that Santos will probably be back in another two to three weeks - he resumed throwing yesterday - unless he suffers a setback. Cordero can safely be dropped in most leagues.

The Toronto Blue Jays' projected 2012 bullpen is expected to include RPs Jason Frasor, Casey Janssen, Jesse Litsch, Darren Oliver, Luis Perez, Sergio Santos and Carlos Villanueva. Ps Chad Beck, Joel Carreno and Danny Farquhar will also be in contention for a bullpen spot.

With the Toronto Blue Jays' acquisition of RP Jason Frasor, the team currently has 40 players on its 40-man roster. They are expected to make another roster move in the next several days to create space for RP Darren Oliver.

The Chicago White Sox bullpen gave up three runs - two earned - and five hits over three innings Sunday, July 31, against the Boston Red Sox. RP Jesse Crain gave up two runs - one earned - and three hits while retiring just one batter to take the loss. Newcomer RP Jason Frasor also gave up a run in an inning of work. The White Sox bullpen came in with a 1.65 ERA over the past 27 games, and a 1.70 ERA over the past 35.
