Indians | Michael Bourn not starting Tuesday

Tue, 26 May 2015 11:36:38 -0700

Cleveland Indians OF Michael Bourn is not starting Tuesday, May 26. The Indians shifted OF Michael Brantley to center field for the night, and OF Ryan Raburn is in left.

Fantasy Tip: Bourn ($2,300, 4.6% of cap) is hitting better at the plate, and it looks like manager Terry Francona just shifted his lineup to get Bourn a night off. Raburn ($1,900, 3.8% of cap) has one hit in his last 15 plate appearances and carries little fantasy value.

Indians | Brandon Moss dropped to seventh

Tue, 19 May 2015 15:52:22 -0700

Cleveland Indians OF Brandon Moss has been dropped to seventh in the batting order against Chicago White Sox SP Jose Quintana Tuesday, May 19. OF Ryan Raburn is starting in right field and hitting cleanup.

Fantasy Tip: Moss ($3,800, 7.6% of cap) is hitting just .231 despite having five home runs and 23 RBI this year. He does have a homer and nine RBI against lefties, but he loses much of his luster hitting at the bottom of the order. Raburn ($1,900, 3.8% of cap), on the other hand, has been a left killer in recent seasons. It's hard not to click him for your FantasyScore lineups tonight at the price against Quintana.

Indians | Brandon Moss not playing

Mon, 18 May 2015 13:56:34 -0700

Cleveland Indians OF Brandon Moss is not in the starting lineup Monday, May 18. OF Ryan Raburn is starting in right field and hitting cleanup against Chicago White Sox SP Chris Sale.

Fantasy Tip: Raburn ($1,900, 3.8% of cap) has been a lefty killer the last two seasons, but Sale isn't your run-of-the-mill left-handed starter, and he's coming off a dazzling performance. Consider Raburn a cheap flyer if you're looking to zig while other FantasyScore users zag.

Fri, 15 May 2015 14:09:31 -0700

Cleveland Indians OF Ryan Raburn is starting in left field and hitting cleanup against Texas Rangers left-handed SP Wandy Rodriguez Friday May 15. OF Brandon Moss moves from cleanup to sixth in the order.

Fantasy Tip: Raburn ($1,900, 3.8% of cap) has been a lefty killer in his career, especially in 2015. He's tuning up lefties with a slash line of .429/.457/.714 with a home run and 12 RBI. Anytime a lefty is on the mound against the Tribe, you should seriously consider Raburn for your FantasyScore lineups.

Indians | Ryan Raburn sitting Thursday

Thu, 07 May 2015 09:18:19 -0700

Cleveland Indians OF Ryan Raburn is out of the lineup Thursday, May 7.

Fantasy Tip: Raburn ($1,900, 3.8% of your cap) has been on fire this season with a .370-1-11 line and actually hit cleanup the past two games. He's approaching must-start status at his price point when he's in there. David Murphy ($1,900, 3.8%) has hit just .240 this season and isn't worth the spot start on FantasyScore.

Indians | Ryan Raburn hitting cleanup

Tue, 05 May 2015 16:25:04 -0700

Cleveland Indians OF Ryan Raburn is starting in left field and hitting cleanup against Kansas City Royals SP Jason Vargas Tuesday, May 5.

Fantasy Tip: Raburn ($1,900, 3.8% of cap) has become a regular in the lineup against lefties, and for good reason this year. He's hitting .457 (16-for-35) against them with a home run, 10 RBI and a 1.217 OPS. It looks like his playing time against lefties will start to cost Michael Bourn playing time. Consider Raburn a sneaky good play yet again against a lefty tonight.

Indians | Ryan Raburn likes hitting lefties

Sun, 03 May 2015 14:34:56 -0700

Cleveland Indians OF Ryan Raburn is hitting .400 overall with 10 RBIs in 40 at-bats, including a .457 average (16-for-35) against left-handers.

Fantasy Tip: Raburn ($1,900, 3.8% of cap) doesn't play much against righties at all, but he is worth a low-cost flier against some left-handed pitching based on the matchup. He seems to have shaken off injuries from 2014.

Indians | Ryan Raburn at DH

Sun, 26 Apr 2015 07:02:30 -0700

Cleveland Indians OF Ryan Raburn will start as the designated hitter and bat fifth in the order Sunday, April 26, against the Detroit Tigers.

Fantasy Tip: Raburn ($1,600, 3.2% of cap) has gotten off to a blistering start with a .364 average through 24 plate appearances. While regression is likely to his Raburn hard at some point in the near future, FantasyScore owners have to keep using him until that happens. Against Tigers left-hander Kyle Lobstein, Raburn represents a quality value play.

Indians | Ryan Raburn likes facing White Sox

Wed, 22 Apr 2015 09:54:08 -0700

Cleveland Indians OF Ryan Raburn is batting .308 (103-for-337) with 18 home runs and 79 RBI in his career against the Chicago White Sox, and he's hitting .328 (67-for-204) with 11 homers and 50 RBI in 63 career games at U.S. Cellular Field. He's hitting .381 (8-for-21) with a home run and seven RBI this year after dealing with knee and wrist problems in 2014.

Fantasy Tip: Raburn ($1,600, 3.2% of cap) isn't starting for the Tribe against a right-handed pitcher Wednesday, but he should not be ignored at FantasyScore on days the Indians are facing a lefty and he's in the lineup. There is plenty of profit in his stick while he's going well.
