Houston Astros OF Jason Michaels, OF Cory Sullivan and 3B Geoff Blum all stand to benefit from the team's upcoming Interleague Series against the New York Yankees and Kansas City Royals, according to the Houston Chronicle's Zachary Levine and Bernardo Fallas. "What I'm looking forward to is being able to use these guys, give them a couple of at-bats," said manager Bradley Mills, adding that he had not yet decided on a designated hitter for today. "It's tough to get these guys some at-bats with the way guys are playing, so that's what I'm looking forward to. These guys are important to us."

Zachary Levine, of the Houston Chronicle, reports Houston Astros OF Hunter Pence, who has started the season 2-for-21 (.095), was benched Sunday, April 11. He was replaced in the No. 3 spot and in right field by OF Cory Sullivan.
