Baltimore Orioles SP Alfredo Simon allowed six runs - five earned - and eight hits over 5 1/3 innings in a loss Wednesday, Aug. 18, against the Oakland Athletics. Simon is winless in three starts, and four of the past six outings. He has also allowed four or more runs in three starts in a row, and failed to last longer than 5 2/3 innings in any of those outings.
