Steve Gilbert, of Diamondbacks.MLB.com, reports the Arizona Diamondbacks are considering Chicago Cubs roving baserunning and outfield instructor Vince Coleman among other possible candidates for the first base coach and outfield/baserunning instructor jobs.

The Chicago Sun-Times reports former MLB OF Vince Coleman has been instructing the Chicago Cubs' pitchers and catchers in recent days about what a basestealer is thinking. Cubs manager Dusty Baker invited Coleman to camp as an instructor.
