Mon, 07 May 2012 09:51:56 -0700 Updating a previous report, Washington Nationals OF Jayson Werth (wrist) will miss at least six weeks after breaking his left wrist Sunday, May 6. It's the same wrist he broke while playing for the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2005. The team will platoon OFs Xavier Nady and Roger Bernadina in left field in the meantime, with OF Bryce Harper in right field. OFs Steve Lombardozzi and Chad Tracy could also see time in left.

In case Morse isn't good to go, OF Mark DeRosa will begin playing in left field in spring games. INF Steve Lombardozzi is also seeing some time in the outfield. If Morse begins on the disabled list, a spot will be opened up for OFs Brett Carroll, Jason Michaels and Chad Tracy.

OF Roger Bernadina (tooth) did not play Tuesday, March 13, because he had a tooth pulled. He is expected to return Wednesday.
