Philadelphia Phillies 3B Ross Gload (hip) received an anti-inflammatory injection Monday, Sept. 26, to remove some pain for a muscle tear in his right hip. Gload is ready to go for the Divisional Series.

Philadelphia Phillies 1B Ross Gload made a pinch-hitting appearance Wednesday, Aug. 24, against the New York Mets, and he laced a double to deep right in the eighth inning. It was his first hit in the month of August, snapping an 0-for-15 slide. He is still mired in a 4-for-34 funk.

Philadelphia Phillies SP Cole Hamels (poison oak) pitched with poison oak on both of his legs in two of his starts after contracting it during an off day June 20. 3B Ross Gload also contracted it.
